Dear Dee,

I don’t know why I am writing to you here. I don’t know if you will ever read this.
But uncertainty is an essential flavor that makes life edible, right?

I saw you in my dream today. You were laughing. You looked so young and carefree.
And your skin was glowing.

It inspired me; to become a better person, to become a stronger woman. I don’t know how or why
But it did.

Dee, know that the man who hurt you, did not know what he was losing. I am sure you have not let
that affect you. I wish I could meet you someday in the same state as I did in my dream.

So long.

Dear Vee,

We rode to the beach, me and Shital.

There it was, a mysterious object, its surface shining in the setting sun, barely visible above the sand, offering the temptation to be examined. Curiosity got the better of my friend and she touched
it slightly with her feet.

A huge crab that was partially buried in the sand scuttled out of its secure hiding place, obviously annoyed out of its siesta; Shital screamed her lungs out.
The people nearby looked at us amused. She was cursing until she recovered from the initial shock.

I could not stop laughing. It was like the time we got caught laughing in Satish sir’s nature class.

I’m glad I managed to make friends :)

To new friendships…
